Long Tall and Tempted An Anthology Long Tall Texans Book 13 edition by Diana Palmer Contemporary Romance eBooks
Story 1 is Redbird, and is pretty darn silly. Other reviewers have noted the ridiculousness of letting some strange guy haul you off into your car and not even put up a fight. This one was just... Dumb.Story 2 is Paper Husband. This one deserves a minus 10. The Zero is unredeemable. He literally French kisses his ex-wife in front of her husband, and continues to look at the ex with hunger and want in front of his new wife. The new wife gives up and leaves, rightfully so. He goes off with the ex and her husband, who dies the minute they arrive at their house. The Zero then stays with the ex for weeks without contacting the h in any way. So the h files for divorce. This zero is just scum, and the h should have shot his sorry rear.
Story 3 is Christmas Cowboy. This one is not completely forgettable but the best of a poor bunch of stories. It, at least, has a lot of humor in it.

Long Tall and Tempted An Anthology Long Tall Texans Book 13 edition by Diana Palmer Contemporary Romance eBooks Reviews
Great book by the best author
Another book to read over again. The Harts Brothers are yummy. Everyone of them have a bit of a different story to tell. Worth the time just to go on vacation from life and see what's going on in Jacobsville, TX.
Loved all three stories. Ms Palmer is my favorite story teller, as I read these stories I would see them played out in my mind. Great book
The stories were written in the 90’s and I think her later work is better. But these three books were pretty good. The last one being my favorite.
Three favorites from Diana Palmer. "Christmas Cowboy" is the first of the Hart Brothers series, Redbird is the story of the leader of the rock band Desperado & a pretty girl he thinks is a gossip reporter, Paper Husband is the story of two neighbors who marry to hold off land developers and fall in love. Good reading for a lazy, rainy weekend. All these stories are hard to find separately.
I enjoy Diana Palmer's books, pretty much all of the time. I like the dramatics. I don't mind that they are formulaic. I like knowing what I'm going to get and I read and reread them. My only complaint is the way Palmer uses the same names for so many stories. In this collection, she refuses the name Hank. I've noticed her predilection for certain names or variations on them...like "Hank" or "King". I find it a bit irritating because it makes it difficult to file the memories I have of certain characters. Anyway....I'm still being entertained, can't complain about that!
And the second I find out why I read these stories I can stop because whereas they can be hilarious like Christmas Cowboy, the basically follow a pattern, rude, rich cowboy treats homely, poor 18-24 year old like crap but she loves him anyway and is, here we go again "hungry for him." He teaches this Virgin all about "hunger" having nothing to do with a ham sandwich -)
She loves to run her fingers through the pelt that is his chest hair.
To my shame and hilarity I enjoyed the Hart brothers series and what they go through for their beloved biscuits.
